CONDITIONS FOR EXTENDING THE FRAME WARRANTY

Thanks to the positive results of quality tests conducted by the German institute TUV Rheinland Germany, the manufacturer of Plumbike bicycles gives the opportunity toextend for life thewarranty on the frame of the Plumbike bicycles it produces, purchased from 22.02.2024.

The Extended Frame Warranty will apply only to the first owner of the bicycle and will begin on the day following the end of the standard Warranty. The extended warranty applies only to bicycles purchased from 22.02.2024 inclusive.

The Extended Frame Warranty is valid under the following conditions.

(1) The bicycle must be purchased and used for recreational purposes by an individual.

(2) During the period of the Extended Warranty, maintenance is required to be performed at a Plumbike partner service network or any bicycle service center:

– the first one between 6 and 10 weeks from the date of purchase (for bicycles purchased in the months of November to the end of February, the inspection may bé performed by April 31 at the latest)

– a second technical inspection between 12 and 18 months from the date of purchase

– subsequent technical inspections at least once every three years

3 The Extended Frame Warranty covers only the frame structure and any material defects in the frame. The paint layer, its damage and the frame wrapping are not covered by the Extended Frame Warranty.
4 A user who has made a purchase must add his e-mail address to the Plumbike newsletter.

(6) If a defect in material or workmanship is found, Plumbike guarantees its replacement or repair under the Extended Frame Warranty.

(7) In order to process a claim, it is required to provide a complete bicycle (or, in indicated cases, the frame itself – after the manufacturer agrees to such a solution).

(8) The manufacturer has14 calendar days to process a complaint, calculated from the time of delivery of the bicycle to the manufacturer’s headquarters or other location designated by the manufacturer.

(9) If you decide to replace the frame under the Extended Warranty, the Manufacturer will replace it within 30 calendar days.
